This was a matter of private interest as I was looking to build some omnipolar speakers for my office. The omnipolar technique offers an open and airy sound image without bringing the conventional stereo image.

This means that there is no sweet spot for the ultimate listening position but all listeners, regardless of position, seated or standing, will become the same listening experience.
These kinds of speakers are suitable for rooms where you are constantly changing your listening position.
